Important results from the project
The Purpose and objective was to develop our by the market demanded revenue platform for blogs and digital media. Because the platform is developed, is being tested live with good feedback and generates revenue the goal must be regarded as very well satisfied.
Expected long term effects
1. A first commercially viable version of our platform. 2. One year after the project, Metapic is expected to be implemented at five of Sweden´s largest blog portals, one in Norway and one in Germany. 1. Considered achieved according to the purpose and objectives above. 2. Since Metapics platform is implemented at multiple blog portals in Sweden and in Norway and a number of large Swedish partners are in the pipeline, the prospect of achieving the result is very positive.
Approach and implementation
To ensure the project´s effectiveness it was divided into the below-described work packages. Each work package included a number of deliverables. The project was run according to the Lean Startup methodology and development according to Scrum. 1. Design & UX 2. Development 3. Project Management & Business Development 4. Legal In working according to Lean Startup and developing with the Scrum methology, the work packages have been great support in achieving the goal.
