Purpose and goal

The goal of the project "Meeting place for future vision" is to develop methods to create a meeting place where actors from different parts of society can meet for dialogue and engagement around common societal challenges. Innovations will be shown as future prototypes and test environments will be created. The goal is to create a long-term event design that can serve as a model for future meeting spaces, including formats, approaches, and methods.

Expected effects and result

The effect will be: - new working methods and methods for foresight and a meeting place for dialogue with a breadth of participation. -shortened distance between research/innovation to citizens, which strengthens action for sustainable development. -promotion of knowledge exchange and collaborations which in the long run can lead to new research areas and innovations. -that through a public place that attracts many visitors, engagement and dialogue about future issues is created.

Planned approach and implementation

To ensure that the concept is sustainable and effective, the project will be carried out as a development process with the goal of creating a validated concept model that can be used for future meeting places. -Development and implementation of event design: target group, activity format, dialogue format, Living lab, infrastructure -Evaluation of event design test cases: from an organizational perspective and a learning perspective. -Further development of concept model
