Important results from the project

The project largely achieved its three goals, based on documented experiences from visitors, participants, and researchers: cross-sector dialogue was enabled through broad representation, engaging formats were confirmed by high participation and positive feedback, and future prototypes sparked interest and reflection. The evaluation shows that the format has strong potential to engage diverse groups in dialogue on future issues.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected to have long-term impact by serving as a model for collaboration on future issues. Lessons learned show that accessibility and interactivity are key to engagement, that diverse participant groups enrich dialogue, that well-supported formats with clear structure enhance the experience, and that emotional reactions and reflection indicate lasting impressions. The results will inform the development of future co-creative event design in public spaces.

Approach and implementation

The project aimed to develop and test a concept model for a long-term sustainable event design – with criteria for the form, culture and content of the meeting place. Through three digital workshops, a vernissage with 28 projects (of which four in an interactive Living Lab) and three dialogue formats), an inclusive meeting place was created that promoted understanding, dialogue and co-creation around sustainable future solutions.
