Purpose and goal
The purpose of the project is to advance the maturity of the confidential computing continuum for 6G networks. The specific goal of the project is to compare and test existing approaches to live migration of confidential VMs with the Intel TDX technology.
Expected effects and result
The expected results are a prototype evaluation of implementations for TDX live migration and a report describing the outcomes.
Planned approach and implementation
The thesis will be conducted under the joint supervision from CanaryBit (industry supervision) and Uppsala University (academic supervision) and will be conducted primarily during the spring term 2026. The thesis defence and publication may concluded in early fall 2026.
