Purpose and goal
This planning project aims to prepare a competitive application to the EIC Accelerator for Jordkraft Energy AB´s innovative deep geothermal energy solution. With the support of the EIC Accelerator, the technology will be developed from TRL6 to TRL8, including demonstrations and early market introduction.
Expected effects and result
Key activities included in the planning project are: clearly defining the main project’s objectives, preparing and submitting the short proposal (Step 1), identifying and engaging pilot partners and co-funders, refining the business plan and financial strategy, defining a detailed project work plan and budget for the EIC Accelerator project activities, and preparing all necessary documentation. Finally, the EIC Step 2 proposal will be submitted.
Planned approach and implementation
The project runs from July 2025 (pending for approval of the starting report) to March 2026 and is led by four key people in Jordkraft´s team, with support from external consultants with experience in EU funding. The implementation is divided into 4 work packages: - WP1. Planning project set up and short application - WP2. Pilot partners and co-funders identification and engagement - WP3.
