Important results from the project
The objective and purpose of the project was to develop an IP strategy for cDoc, in order to maximize the business opportunities through IP activities. The project has been very successful, as a clear IP strategy with clear activities has been created. The IP activities affect both internal and external work.
Expected long term effects
The expectations of the IP strategy were to develop IP activities and find areas where the IP strategy can be used to increase the company´s value. We have largely achieved the expected effects with the project. The action plan created has clear activities and has been firmly anchored in the organization. Several activities have already begun. The review of current IP work has shown that we have largely worked properly, but that there have been critical gaps.
Approach and implementation
The project was divided into 3 parts. Part A: Identification and ownership issues Part B: External analysis Part C: IP strategy and plan for implementation It was a good setup where the consultant got a good insight and understanding of the business during step A, in order to then be able to use the knowledge in the other parts. It was also good that we chose a consultant who was experienced in similar investigations and at the same time partly familiar with the industry.
