Important results from the project
SMIG has created a first version of a joint “Integrated Smart Test and demo environment for the mining industry”. And use cases have tried how the test environment delivers expected value.
Expected long term effects
The concept of the SMIG test environment is produced in a first version and tested in use cases. The plan for the second and third year of phase 2 is defined.
Approach and implementation
The project was organised in three work packages for producing the test environment and one work package with a number of use cases that evaluated the test environment. In addition there are one work package for project management and one for dissemination. Four iterations are planned where a new version of the test environment is produced and tested by use cases. During the first year the first iteration is conducted. Lessons learned from year 1 shows that some WPs can be merged, for increased clarity and efficiency, which is applied in the application for year 2-3.
