Purpose and goal
The global population is estimated to reach 10 billion by 2050, with an increased crop demand for human consumption and animal feed by 100%. Today grain is the second largest traded commodity, after oil. As a result, grain quality verification has a direct impact on the global food security. This is where we come in, we are able to analyze grain chemical composition by its scent, an internal property that does not manifest itself visually. What we do is highly relevant as research reveals that for every degree Celsius the global temperature increases, we stand to lose 6% of its wheat crop.
