Important results from the project

The goal of the project is that the envisaged actions is designed to help strengthen the conditions for a good innovation and growth potential in the local business community in Södertälje. Innovation checks are used for both early-stage and established companies, with a focus on growth companies.

Expected long term effects

Several of the companies that received the Innovation Cheque has increased its revenue and employed more during, and shortly thereafter. UIC programs, combined with innovation voucher has produced positive results with increased sales, more employees and thereby increasing growth. This combination has been a success. We also see clear improvements focus on business development and business acumen in the companies with innovation voucher which management worked with internal processes and taken advantage of the new knowledge and / or new technology that checks has allowed.

Approach and implementation

During November, we formed the steering group, the selection of distributors and coaches. Project start-up was in Dec. 2012 to reseve the first applications to innovate checks.
