Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has for the most part reached the number of small and medium-sized companies that were planned and carried out planned activities and thereby contributed to creating coherent information about opportunities for support for SMEs that want to contribute to a circular bioeconomy. The project has shown good examples and inspiration from companies that have achieved funding both at national and EU level and thus contributed to increased knowledge. The project has also conducted seminars with tips for application work.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has contributed to BioInnovation gaining increased knowledge about support for the target group. It is too early to say whether the project´s efforts have produced results for individual SMEs, but follow-up is planned. The project has carried out the seminars, podcast episodes and information events, mailings and produced a website, according to plan. 390 participants took part in the seminars and information sessions, of which 160 represented an SME (target 150). Of these, 30 participated in the information sessions (target 40).
Approach and implementation

It is most powerful to arrange information sessions together with established actors with large networks. It is important to include companies as ambassadors who can talk about their experiences to create interest. A lesson learned is that information to SMEs should be well timed based on where in the needs process around development funds the company is.
