Important results from the project

The overall goal of the project is to develop technology to measure H2 gas concentrations for industrial applications in the production of hydrogen gas. För MidDec and Mid Sweden University are to develop electronics and cloud-based services to enable measurements in industrial environments. We have been able to demonstrate a complete system functioning in an industrial environment with a technical platform that also enables measurements of other parameters in industrial applications

Expected long term effects

For us, important knowledge has been gained regarding industrial eligibility requirements for hydrogen measurement in production and distribution, which makes us well positioned to develop measurement techniques in this area. This platform allows us to develop products and participate in development projects based on state-of-the-art technologies and which are not limited to hydrogen measurement.

Approach and implementation

Partners from chemistry, physics, electronics, information systems, a large energy company and an SME developing sensor systems collaborated to achieve the end goal. A common demonstrator was gradually developed, first for a lab environment, then a test environment and finally a real industrial environment. This created a common vision and ensured that the end goal was met. The project followed the schedule with minor adjustments during the process.
