Important results from the project

This study aimed to investigate whether a similar program to ICURe in the UK and I-CORPs in the USA, may contribute to increasing the utilization of research results in deeptech in Sweden. The project concludes that a similar program to ICURe and I-CORPs can be valuable for Sweden. The recommendation is to carry out a pilot according to the project´s proposal. Also, the recommendation is to carry out a pilot inspired by Engineering Unleashed.

Expected long term effects

The results consist of a compilation of interviews with researchers and two reports: Obstacles to Utilization of Research Results and Program Development of a Similar Program to ICURe/I-CORPs. The latter report was reported on 27 04 2023. In the short term, the expected effect is increased quality of the utilization of research results within deeptech, and in the long term an increased utilization.
