Important results from the project
We have: - Designed a project meeting where the meeting between ´needs´ identfiers´ and entrepreneurs may work on different methods to provoke market-relevant ideas. - Created an agreement to facilitate open innovation and managing future intellectual property rights. - Formulated an implementation process that can lead to new uses around 3DP. - An inventory of entrepreneurs with the capacity and knowledge of 3DP production. - Identified a specific group of ´needs´ identifiers´.
Expected long term effects
Unique in 3DP project is that there is a huge knowledge gap between ´needs´ identifiers´ and entrepreneurs. This means great opportunities to find new needs. We have also seen signs that the specified target group of Shopkeepers / service providers in Malmö City is highly relevant.
Approach and implementation
During the preparatory project, it has become clear to us that those of Vinnova´s stated roles melts to some extent together in this project. Shop owners / service providers will certainly be able to identify needs that others may develop, but the ´needs´ identifiers´ are also likely to see the needs that they themselves could realize. Therefore the Participant Agreement is designed to give all players the opportunity to realize ideas that arise. It will be important in implementing the project we select participants who do not apparently compete with each other.
