Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The planning project aimed to enable Swedish participation in preparing an Horizon-Europe proposal for a European collaborative project that aims to develop and demonstrate a management method / process to achieve well-functioning networks / clusters based on industrial and urban symbiosis (IUS). The goal of the planning project was a submitted competitive proposal for the HORIZON-CL4-2021-TWIN-TRANSITION-01-14 call with a budget of at least 3 million Euros for Swedish participants. Both aim and objective for the planning project have been met.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Notice of a proposal granted or not expected in Q1 2022. The application work has resulted in - in addition to a high-quality proposal - a strengthened collaboration within IUS between 11 Swedish organizations. If proposal is approved, this co-operation is expected to be further strengthened and co-operation with European parties initiated. An approved project is also expected to lead to several demonstration projects performed in the municipalities of Sotenäs, Lysekil and Vänersborg, as well as strengthened and disseminated knowledge in the area .
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Within the framework of the planning project, the project idea and constellation were developed and collaboration with the coordinator for proposal was intensified. A description of demonstrators planned to be carried out in Sweden and the structure for these was structured in the planning project. Through close collaboration with the coordinator and active participation from Swedish parties, the Swedish constellation could be expanded from the planned four to eleven participants, and a total budget of 3.8 million Euros for these were achieved.
