Important results from the project
The project met the goal of developing a competitive basis for an EIC Accelerator-application through market validation (dialogues with potential customers), prototype improvement (upgrading our measurement instrument) and a validation campaign with very strong measurement results. We completed the proposal, pitch-deck and 3-min pitch video and sharpened our market positioning around a disruptive inline solution.
Expected long term effects
The project strengthens our ability to take the technology from prototype to commercial product and enables faster industrialization through clearer requirements, partnerships and validation data. In the long term, the solution is expected to provide more accessible inline measurement of particle size and color in processes, which improves process control, reduces waste and resource consumption and strengthens Swedish exports and competitiveness in sustainable process technology.
Approach and implementation
The project progressed well and we were able to largely follow the schedule. During the work, the market validation provided new insights that led to a minor adjustment of the focus, which meant that the project developed slightly differently than originally planned. However, the adjustment strengthened the result and led to a clearer case and a significantly stronger EIC Accelerator-ansökan.
