Important results from the project
Develop and validated technique for separation of polypeptides according to their isolectric point. The tool should be potentially automatable and fully compatible with mass spectrometrical analysis of tryptic peptides. The developed technique should be incorporated into the normal proteomic platform at the proteomics facilities at Prof. Zubarev Laboratory.
Expected long term effects
These efforts are well reflected in the scientific outcome, which is described in one article published in the prestigious Analytical Chemistry and a poster presentation at the coming ASMS meeting in Minneapolis, USA. The impacts of this grant are detailed on an attached document.
