Important results from the project
The project led to a complete proposal to the EU´s EIC Accelerator for Bardo´s platform for decision support around Scope 3 emissions. In the work, we sharpened how we describe the product, the business and the technical plan, and parts of it are already being used in investor dialogues.
Expected long term effects
If the proposal is granted, Bardo can expand the platform faster and reach more European companies that must report Scope 3 according to, among other things, CSRD. In the long term, we want the solution to become a common infrastructure that can also be used by auditors, banks and the public sector. Regardless of the outcome, we have learned how the EU wants to see applications and how we best describe our product and business, increasing quality of future applications and investor dialogues.
Approach and implementation
The project was driven by two of Bardo´s founders, Ingemar Rask and Oskar Klingberg, together with GAEU Consulting AB. We divided the work into three phases: first we went through the EIC´s eligibility requirements and checked that we qualified (Oct and Nov 2025), then we wrote the proposal and Annex 1 ourselves (Dec 2025 to April 2026), and concluded with the financial model, review and submission (April 2026). The schedule was met and the collaboration with GAEU worked well.
