Data Sharing in Public Transport and Micromobility

Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** This project aimed to exchange experiences between actors in the field of mobility from the Nordic countries and "policy actors" in Silicon Valley in the USA. Through the exchange of experience, we want to establish relationships and the Nordic the actors are given an opportunity to understand the ongoing development in the areas of data sharing / open data in public transport and micromobility. The project was carried out in the form of study visits and meetings with organizations according to a well-prepared programme.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project very well met Samtrafiken´s expectations regarding understanding of the visited organizations´ solutions and challenges, which has been useful "at home" when we address similar issues in our role in Sweden, often in consultation with other organizations in the Nordic region (in the ODIN project mm). Furthermore, we have established contact points with the organizations visited, which has proved to be valuable when we ask in-depth questions or discuss issues that arise in the area of mobility in Sweden and the Nordic countries.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project was carried out mainly through study visits, which were prepared in the project group by getting acquainted with the activities of the organizations we would visit and prepare questions based on this, and produce presentations about the mobility area in Sweden and the issues we have there through Samtrafiken´s coordinating role for public transport actors. The purpose of the latter was to provide a basis for interactive meetings where we not only requested but could also provide valuable information for the organizations we met.
