Purpose and goal

The project aims to initiate the commercialisation of an interactive multimodal digital twin app through a strategic Sweden–US collaboration. The goal is to validate the technical direction, identify long-term academic, public-sector, and industrial partners, and establish a clear roadmap for the next phase, where the solution is developed into a scalable, market-ready product for training, analysis, and cultural access.

Expected effects and result

The project is expected to result in validated international partnerships, a shared understanding of technical and market maturity, and a concrete foundation for continued product development. In the long term, it strengthens Sweden’s position in trustworthy digital twins, enables new commercial and export opportunities, and supports improved tools for training, preparedness, analysis, and access to cultural and historical environments.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is carried out as an initial step towards commercialisation, focusing on international validation and partnership building. Activities include preparation, targeted visits to US universities, public organisations, and companies, and participation in an international conference. The results are consolidated into a collaboration plan, a technology and market overview, and a detailed roadmap for the next development phase.
