Purpose and goal

Early-stage entrepreneurs in health technology face major challenges, such as regulatory requirements and clinical validation. CO-AX supports them by providing mentorship, investor networks, and expert guidance to accelerate their journey from idea to market. The program facilitates collaborations with healthcare providers and established players, giving early startups the right conditions to grow, validate their solutions, and expand globally in an innovative and supportive environment.

Expected effects and result

The effects are that in the long term CO-AX contributes to more successful healthtech companies, faster patient benefit and a more innovative health sector, both nationally and globally. Increased internationalization and market establishment, improved access to test environments and regulatory support. Stronger networks between startups, industry and healthcare. More disruptive innovations within HealthTech, MedTech and BioTech. Increased competitiveness and sustainable growth in the sector.

Planned approach and implementation

The implementation follows a multi-step process. Innovative companies are attracted through the Pre CO-AX program, which includes Attract, Impact Verification, and Prepare. After an admission process, companies enter the CO-AX program, Incubate and Accelerate, where they receive support in business development, financing, and market access. The support is provided through internal expertise, external specialists when needed, and connections to networks. Finally, an Exit process takes place.
