Cleaning of industrial oils

Important results from the project

Lucent Oil AB has developed a concept for continues cleaning and regeneration of process oils called the UCO-System. Today the technology is used at a number of Swedish Rolling mills where every installation has required a large amount of individual adaptation. Lucent Oil has identified a large growth potential on several other markets where oil can be regenerated, such as engine lubricants, hydraulic- and transformer oils. The proposed prestudy is will evaluate a variety of new methods for adaptation and analysis of the extraction phase to adapt the technology to the new markets.
