Important results from the project

All of the objectives set for the project were achieved, which were finalization of the consortium for which funding is sought, generation of data to demonstrate early proof-of-concept, market and IP analysis to ensure that the market is open to innovation, and writing of the proposal itself. All results were positive and a consortium was formed, positive proof-of-concept was generated, the market- and IP situation was considered positive and a proposal was prepared and approved by EUROSTARS.

Expected long term effects

The project will involve new investments in research and development and lead to the creation of new jobs. The goal of the project is the development of new products, which after positive validation will lead to increased competitiveness for Cellevate. The products themselves have the potential to streamline the production of stem cells, and thereby make them available for both research and the development of new therapies.

Approach and implementation

The project was divided into four work packages: WP1 - "Finalizaiton of the consortium" WP2 - "Identification of partner for- and execution of proof-of-concept study" WP3 - "Market intelligence, IPR analysis, business case optimization WP4 - "Grant writing and review" With these work packages we ensured optimal scientific and business conditions to both prepare the proposal and run the project successfully. The project is completed on time and within budget, without major deviations.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
