Important results from the project

The goal of the project was to analyze conceptual, content-related and business-related issues of a product VÅRDeTIK aiming to support strategic organisation development and work with care ethical problems among care givers. The project has resulted in a web-based demonstrator with a focus-group based organisational development part and a part for daily support in care ethical problems faced by professionals.

Expected long term effects

The demonstrator has several functionalities. The organisational development part gives step-by-step instructions for organisational development of work with care ethics in elderly care. The support part provides a searchable data bank with ethical problems and handling strategies available to all associated care givers with possibility to comment, review and complement the bank with problems and strategies of their own. The demonstrator has been received with enthusiasm by potential users.

Approach and implementation

The project has been in the work of the focus group methodology in cooperation with representatives of Elderly care and personal assistance. A baseline gate the conditions for a first web demonstrative. That was then tested in a focus group context , which led To further develop ideas. Different business models have been discussed internally in the project and reconciled with potential customers through strategic interviews with relevant health care providers.
