Important results from the project

The project has achieved its objective by developing and improving our processes and strengthening our competence to support our startups in the most resource- and cost-effective way. It has also created the conditions to be able to carry out a variety of activities which have helped our startups to their success. The project has also increased the trust of our enablers which contributes to long-term activities that are included in local and regional growth strategies.

Expected long term effects

Expected effects are a stronger startup scene regionally which, together with other activities, contributes to increased growth and ensures the possibility of economic sustainability and long-term sustainability. Various business development and acceleration programs are expected to have the opportunity to transform advanced research into commercial solutions that both drive business benefit and accelerate the green transition, both locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

Approach and implementation

The setup and implementation have worked well according to the activity and time plan, as reported in the previous progress reports. We were able to handle the challenges of the pandemic by quickly starting to work digitally with our startups. Our business development and acceleration programs and our processes and activities have been developed and adapted throughout the project period to follow the needs of our startups, while we have increased our internal competence to meet the future.
