Important results from the project

The project developed and demonstrated an autonomous drone system where two drones work together to monitor an area, identify objects, and follow prioritized objectives. The solution combines AI-based object detection, autonomous flight, real-time communication, and distributed mission logic. Simulations and flight tests verified key features.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected to contribute to future autonomous surveillance systems with higher efficiency, better situational awareness and reduced risk exposure for humans.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented through the development of AI models, integration of flight control, communication and mission logic. The work included simulations, ground tests, flight tests and the development of web-based operator tools.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
