The project has resulted in expected increased interaction between actors and has thereby contributed to facilitating collaboration projects and increased collaboration between actors in the sector. The meetings of the Agenda have presented a platform for discussion which has led to increased understanding for partly opposite perspectives and the standpoint of various organizations.

Approach and implementation

The project has both benefited , but also partly been neglected, by the Energy Agency´s initiation work for a new research programme for ocean energy as the actors are partly the same. The mission has been carried out through workshops, surveys, meetings and discussions, even interactively, with several other initiatives in the area. The work should hereinafter focus on networking in a wider perspective, e.g. national authorities and actors in adjacent business sectors.
