Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Aerbon´s objective was to 1) build a prototype, 2) conduct a feasibility study for a pilot and 3) verify the customer benefit. All 3 objective have been completed successfully, which enables us to now take the next step in the project. The project works focused on minimizing risks and now we know more about the customers´ needs, how the system works on a lab scale and how it might look on a larger scale.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** After carrying out a feasibility study regarding the establishment of an Direct Air Capture (DAC) pilot plant with Aerbon technology, we know more about process flows, the preliminary mechanical design of the system, costs and necessary permits. This important knowledge will enable the project to seek the necessary capital to build the facility and thus prove technology on an industrial scale.
Approach and implementation
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The content of feasibility study has been developed together with our consulting partner AFRY. Implementation has taken place during the period October 2023 - March 2024 and has gone according to plan. We have had continuous dialogue with weekly meetings where we dealt with the issues that were most relevant for that week. In general, we are very satisfied with the feasibility study that has been produced and the way in which it was produced.
