Important results from the project
Our aim is to provide non-invasive personalized health information for the individual pertaining metabolism and nutrition. In our development plans for such instruments, we have kept in mind sustainable innovation. We have assessed the project from the perspective of economy, technology, and timelines, in order to complete the project within budget and on time.
Expected long term effects
In the project AdMET we plan to develop a non-invasive handheld medical diagnostic instrument with advanced sensors. We have investigated a MEMS (microelectromechanical system) sensor and shall develop an instrument to measure breath acetone in a faster and more specific way and at a lower cost. The expected effect of this would be that users shall embrace this advanced instrument that shall measure his/her metabolic activity and inform them about the status of their metabolic health.
Approach and implementation
- The partners shall continue with a proposal to the next level of funding within Smartare elektroniksystem, for which we have identified collaboration partners from universities and other industries. - Identified clinical partners for instrument clinical trials. - Integration of MEMS sensors in a new instrument is planned within 2023 - We have done a strength, weakness, and risk analysis, and produced a detailed report on the development plan with a budget. - Continuous on-going collaboration between the project partners to successfully achieve the goals and objectives.
