Important results from the project
The aim of this project was to establish an agile method for strategy work in SMEs. A method that focus on the link between production and product development and by that enhance innovative growth. The project was conducted by a cross-disciplinary project team from Jönköping University and Träcentrum together with 13 participating companies.
Expected long term effects
In this project an agile method for strategy work in SMEs has been developed and several related more practice oriented results have been achieved. The results from the project have continuously been reported in practice relevant contexts. Research wise, Melander (2016) is the first publication from the project. Several more is in the writing process
Approach and implementation
The project was conducted in co-production by 15 companies. The project team came from Jönköping University and Träcentrum in Nässjö. The team co-produced the results with the top management teams in 13 SMEs. 119 meeting with company representatives were conducted and the project team has had 88 internal meetings during the project.
