Test Market SME

Reference number
Coordinator Kunskapsbolaget KLN Aktiebolag
Funding from Vinnova SEK 10 000
Project duration December 2013 - March 2014
Status Completed

Purpose and goal

A well founded application that describes the activities and resources required for a Meeting Project will be submitted. The direction of the project will be slightly changed, and the application will now be geared towards an open innovation process where micro enterprises primarily act as needs identifiers to more established SMEs. Both the Swedish Federation of Business Owners in Västerås and in Mälardalen Region are actively involved in the development of the project.

Results and expected effects

The result of the Preparation project is that both Kunskapsbolaget and the Swedish Federation of Business Owners regard a Meeting Project between micro entrepreneurs and SMEs well worth running. The expected result of the Preparation Project is that an application for Execution of such a Meeting Project will be formulated (and hopefully accepted)

Approach and implementation

The Preparation Project was performed both through questionnaires and meetings. The enthusiasm of potential participants and from the Federation of Business Owners was highly promising. The feedback received has been of great help, and has resulted in the primary roles of the project being adjusted. Other feedback has been that it is important in a B2B project to consider that the parties might be of different size, but that all are full commercial parties and should be treated equally in the project. Too strict external definition of roles may also be detrimental to the project outcome.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
