Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The overall aim of the project was to develop and validate virtual physics laboratories, as well as to develop a business model that is adapted to the market and at the same time complies with Edda Knowledges´s vision. In addition to this, the purpose of developing the laboratories was also to be able to develop the team´s focus on research, and to create more material that can be used to investigate technology-supported learning, which now, thanks to Vinnova´s funding, can be done in the spring of 2024.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** By developing these two labs, we have optimized the possibilities to effectively design new labs in the future, since we can reuse parts of the technically difficult simulations. Additionally, having developed two additional labs allows us to continue the evaluation of the labs during the spring semester, to examine the support for our innovation. The business model will also act as a clear guide for how we can further establish ourselves in Sweden.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Both laboratories, as well as the prototype, were evaluated at all stages of development by a physics teacher who was an important partner in the project. Newton´s laws were also tested with the majority of secondary school teachers at a competence development day. Att KU-dagen was so timely and provided good conditions for testing the laboratory outside the somewhat narrow cooperation base we had built up. We see it as beneficial to allow students, who are ultimately the users, to test the labs at an early stage.
