Important results from the project

In this project, Novige AB planned and achieved the following goals: Many potential subcontractors, partners and future customers were further evaluated based on their relevance, competence, climate ambitions, availability, and more. Tests and improvements to the test rig at KTH were carried out on the small-scale NoviOcean prototype which showed promising results, increasing our confidence in the design of the future full-scale unit. The company also updated and expanded its business plan, development plan and existing IP strategy.

Expected long term effects

- The expectations for reaching an increased prototype efficiency to more closely represent the final design have been achieved. - A better knowledge of future subcontractors has been achieved and some cooperation was discussed. - A broader knowledge of different customer segments has been gained and the team has entered into a closer dialogue with some future customers as well as potential partners and test sites. - The company´s IP knowledge has been significantly deepened.

Approach and implementation

During this project we have successfully tested/improved our prototype and test rig at KTH (work package 1), contacted and validated relevant suppliers (work package 2), improved our customer/partner engagement (work package 3), further analyzed the market/customer needs, improved our cost estimates (work package 4), and updated our IP strategies and business plan (work package 5).
