Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The purpose of the activity was to understand the composition and structure of the rock body through the use of advanced technology. Hydroc geologists are very satisfied with the reports from the activity and have gained a good understanding of the rock body.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The result was a basis for creating the best conditions for continuation of the project. The geology and hydrogeology of the rock body proved to be suitable for continuation. The quality of the image material was better than expected and the results different technologies showed the same properties.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Two different techniques were used to best understand what the center well would be drilled and what the rock body looks like: 1. VLF (Very Low Frequency) (Radiowave induced analysis of aquifers) 2. Optical analysis of boreholes was done with cameras and advanced image processing. First a simpler type of camera was used to get an idea of what the borehole looks like. Then a advanced analysis that creates a virtual drill core where slope inclination is shown.
