Important results from the project
In essence, we have investigated the areas described in the project plan with a few exceptions. We have investigated company valuation, which was not specified in the project plan. We have not studies loan-based funding in depth.
Expected long term effects
During the project period, two of our papers have been accepted for publishing in academic journals. A third are in the line to be published, after collection of more data. In addition, we have put together four reports and presented our results at four academic conferences. We have also presented our results for practitioners, such as Almi, Vinnova, at Almedalen, etc.
Approach and implementation
Most of the our studies are quantitative in nature where we have identified problem areas, formulated hypotheses, collected large amounts of data from both primary and secondary sources, and then tested our hypotheses. One of our studies is qualitative, built on interviews with business angels. In the end, our results have then been put together in academic articles or as research reports to practitioners.
