Important results from the project

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project´s objecitve was to contribute to strengthening Sweden´s cyber security capabilities with a particular focus on critical systems and communications and thereby increased national competitiveness. The project achieved its objective by delivering descriptions, analyzes and substantiated and anchored conclusions and, based on this, a number of concrete and feasible proposals aiming at improving Sweden´s capabilities in cyber security.

Expected long term effects

The cyber security work in Sweden has developed with a clear connection to the project´s various proposals in areas such as increased attention to cyber security as a strategic issue for competitiveness, changes in national central governance and management with a particular focus on the National Cyber Security Centre, national cyber security strategy, cooperation between the public and private sectors and competence provision.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project followed IVA´s proven project format with a well-known and committed steering group, three working groups and a political reference group with representatives from the parties in the Parliament. Prepared documents, analyzes and monitoring of the environment as well as comparisons with other countries were processed into concrete and feasible proposals that were also discussed with possible executors in implementation and communication activities.
