Bioactive fluorapatite – next generation sustainable biomaterial

Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project is to prepare the commercialization of our bioactive fluorapatite for medical device use. The goal is to drive customer dialogues, develop commercial agreements, strengthen IP protection and ensure that the material can be produced at scale.

Expected effects and result

Expected results are that the company takes a clear step towards commercialization, with a strengthened ability to meet customer requirements and drive business dialogues forward. The project is also expected to strengthen our position in the value chain and improve opportunities to enter into agreements with industrial partners.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is structured to strengthen the company´s commercial capabilities. Through a combination of business development, technical scaling and intellectual property work, we are building the capacity required to reach the market. The work is done to some extent with external partners and is continuously integrated into the operational activities.
