Funding of preparatory projects for system demonstrators that accelerate the transition to fossil-free, safe, equitable and efficient road transport. The solutions should have high technical maturity and potential to be implemented and scaled up within a few years. All five system dimensions should be addressed. Preparatory projects aim to prepare for a system demonstrator. The chosen societal challenge should already have been explored in a previous feasibility study. Relevant actors should be mobilized to participate and a plan should be developed for the system demonstrator´s implementation, funding, utilization and dissemination of results. The offer is part of the FFI Accelerera sub-program within the Automotive Strategic research and innovation (FFI) collaboration.

All groups of actors who in collaboration intend to carry out preparatory projects for a system demonstrator, for example industry that is a supplier of solutions together with need owners, users, research and public actors.

How much can you apply for?

Maximum funding for preparatory projects is SEK 900,000, with eligibility requirements of at least 25 percent co-financing from companies for the total project budget. Project duration is up to 12 months.
