Important results from the project

Womni´s objective is to give all women the conditions for better health during menopause through knowledge, support and correct care. Since the spring of 2021, Womni has developed a first version of a web app with an associated business model for digital menopause care that offers self-assessment, lifestyle advice and, if necessary, blood sampling and individual treatment with follow-up. If necessary, the women can be referred to specialized care providers in gynaecology.

Expected long term effects

The result of launching Womni has generated a greater focus on menopause in healthcare and research through expert forums, social media and regional working groups. Through Womni´s platform, we are now able to provide women across Sweden with tools, know how and treatment of symptoms related to menopause , which contribute to increased well being during this period.

Approach and implementation

During the project, we have developed, tested and iterated the web app womni.se and verified the business model for this. The implementation consisted of: 1. Development of prototype 2. Test of prototype 3. Evaluated data and results by collecting anonymised user data with results such as 20,000 unique visits since March 2021 with 5000 visitors who performed the self-assessment test and with a rating of 4.8 / 5 on the digital advice 4. Validated business model with paid visits 5. Completion of business plan, and ongoing dissemination of results via expert forums, regions, social media
