Important results from the project

Through tests, we were able to establish that QuietFrames is an effective tool for many students, with and without a diagnosis. QuietFrames have a positive effect for some students on: concentration, performance, persistence, independence & completion of schoolwork, classroom atmosphere and a potential improvement in students´ self-esteem A published study, which was done within the framework of the project targeted students with intellectual disabilities (ID), verified the above results.

Expected long term effects

We have seen a network effect; i.e. special teachers and central student health who bought QuietFrames recommend it to others. This will help more pupils to better concentration, independence & completion of school tasks and thus better school results in the end. Insights from the project have also given us tools to communicate effectively to reach out to our customers. It has helped us to launch QuietFrames in Europe, both via distributors and direct to consumer via our online store.

Approach and implementation

Through our Try&Buy concept, we lent 5 pairs of QuietFrames for 2 weeks to school classes. Students and teachers filled in questionnaires and we interviewed teachers and special educators. A study was carried out in three special schools with objective measurements and interviews with the teachers. All teachers could see clear positive effects of QuietFrames for some students. We attended fairs and gained valuable lessons from discussions and follow-up conversations with decision makers.
