Purpose and goal

The project aims to create methods for increasing norm awareness within the innovation processes at the Volvo group, with the goal of improving conditions for a more including transport industry. The project has fulfilled its goals of producing new knowledge on how norms can hinder the Volvo innovation processes, further developing new norm-critical methods and processes to meet future challenges with relation to work environments, planned users and innovation processes.

Expected results and effects

The results of the project on how norms can hinder innovation ability have made evident the importance of establishing a norm-critical perspective to meet future challenges with relation to work environments, planned users and innovation processes. The project expects increased norm reflexivity.

Planned approach and implementation

The project continuously and interactively planned, selected, interviewed and gained knowledge feedback through workshops, reports, presentations and guides. It thoroughly established and continually updated analysis and results, by integrating a norm-critical perspective in existing processes. Knowledge transfer and collaboration on the significance of norms to the transport industry was communicated on both the regional and national levels.
