Important results from the project

The goal of this project is to participate in a joint conference in Japan where we will have discussions with researchers, academia and industry, and multidisciplinary people from Japan and Sweden. We are looking forward to establishing collaborations with Japanese and Swedish scientists during this conference, as well as exchanges with various fields to promote basic research and applied innovation. In addition to scientific purposes, understanding the cultures of both countries and promoting multidimensional exchanges are among the goals of the project.

Expected long term effects

We had the opportunity to talk with scientists from Japan and Sweden. Discussion topics focused on both materials science and other disciplines. We have tentatively agreed on four potential collaborations, two with research groups in Japan and two with research groups in Sweden. Further implementation and discussions are underway.

Approach and implementation

1. Present our recent research results, for example through posters and face-to-face communication. 2. participation in seminars. 3. laboratory visits, especially to research laboratories working in similar areas or on topics of common interest. 4. Approach researchers who are interested in collaborating to discuss in depth and to find out the feasibility of starting a collaboration. 5. Develop preliminary action plans with potential partners on seeking funding and plans for further collaboration.
