Important results from the project

The goals are considered to have been achieved and the project has resulted in several valuable contacts with both American and Swedish actors in forestry, technology and investments. The project has contributed to dialogues about future business opportunities for the company´s current product offering on the American market and created contacts that can support a future establishment in the USA.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected to contribute in the long term to a strengthened international position for the company within the forest sector, with a focus on the North American market. Through the contacts established during the conference, there are good prospects for future business, partnerships and a possible establishment in the USA. The project is also expected to have long-term effects in the form of a strengthened exchange of knowledge between Swedish and international actors.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented as planned by participating in an industry conference in the USA with a focus on forestry and technology. We participated in program items and conducted both planned meetings and spontaneous networking with relevant actors from the USA and Sweden. The setup worked well and the project followed the schedule without major deviations. No unexpected events affected the implementation and the collaboration within the team worked effectively.
