Important results from the project

The project fulfilled its objective to establish new contacts and strengthen the company´s international presence, and participation in Bio Korea 2025 helped identify potential partners and investors. The project has also helped position QureTech Bio as part of Sweden´s life science export strategy, which could open doors to other Asian markets.

Expected long term effects

In the longer term, the project could lead to concrete research collaborations, licensing agreements and future investors in QureTech Bio. The contacts established in Korea could develop into partnerships that strengthen the company´s international presence. The increased visibility and credibility achieved through participation in Bio Korea 2025 could also facilitate future capital raising and partnerships.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented according to plan with a focus on participation in Bio Korea 2025 as part of the Swedish life science delegation. The plan was for the company to participate in Swedish Pavilion, participate in networking events, business meetings and seminars, and establish contacts with Korean actors in infectious diseases. The activities included participation in a VIP reception at the Swedish residence, as well as individual meetings with potential partners and investors.
