Important results from the project

The purpose of Transferring Diabetes Data to the VINTER platform was to offer VINTER project contestants as authentic data as possible for the development and testing of digital services that support a more efficient, integrated and patient-centered cohesive diabetes care. The purpose was also to follow up effects from the use of e-service via scientific study. The goals have been fulfilled well through deliveries in all areas and within a given time frame.

Expected long term effects

The result is several partial deliveries: 1) Further development of Min Hälsa / HOPE Care as an e-service for patients, 2) Transfer of 19,287 deidentified data records from Region Dalarna & Västra Götalandsregionen via the import client, service within HOPE Databroker and transfer of 43,658 data records from individuals via Mitt Individkonto, service within HOPE Databroker. Overall, the project laid the foundation for competition participants´ ability to access a total of 62,945 data records and scientific studies.

Approach and implementation

The project has been carried out in close collaboration with four regioins, Vinnova, competition participants and individuals. A total of four regions, 2 pediatric and adolescent clinics, 24 competition participants, 17 individuals and 37 patients have been involved and contributed to the project´s successful results. The work has been characterized by very cross-functional collaboration to ensure good results, i.a. at regular work and integration meetings, workshops with healthcare staff, individuals, competition participants, regions and ministries.
