Call Promote Swedish participation in Horisont Europa: planning project in Sustainable industry 2022

Important results from the project

The objective of this project was to submit a strong, high-quality proposal to the call "HORIZON-CL4-2022-DIGITALEMERGING-02-22: Supporting the coordination of the Graphene Flagship projects (CSA)". This was accomplished after some intensive work to coordinate the six project partners (from Sweden (2 ), France (1), Germany (2) and UK (1)) and to develop the application text.

Expected long term effects

We hope that our proposal is the strongest (out of a total of three) and will be granted. The expected effect will be an excellent continuation of the current Graphene Flagship (GF) through a CSA that enables the individual research projects to utilize synergies in their scientific and technical activities and work more efficiently by utilizing common services and support functions.

Approach and implementation

Collaborators in the planning project were Chalmers University of Technology, ABB and Chalmers Industriteknik. Chalmers coordinated the work with the actual CSA proposal. The planning project consisted of three work packages. WP1 "Proposal developing", the largest work package, included developing the operations of the CSA project, finalizing the partnership and writing the proposal. WP2 "The Swedish Connection”, secured how the Swedish ecosystem for 2D materials is connected to the CSA project. WP3 "Project Management” ensured a well-executed planning project.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
