Important results from the project
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The goal of membership in Samverket was to develop the Community Contract and strengthen the innovation power of the collaboration arena by exchanging experiences, expert knowledge and building relationships. This has happened thanks to the membership of Samverket and the amount of exchanges and arrangements that have contributed to knowledge, insights and networks.
Expected long term effects
An expected effect was that participating researchers would have the opportunity to make new contacts with collaborative partners linked to the sustainable workplaces and working methods of the future - this has happened with very good results. A further effect was that the social contract would build knowledge about Samverket as the third place and how such a meeting place could take shape in Västerås and Eskilstuna. A concept that is not ready to be launched but is in the planning stage. A micro concept has been tested in 2023 which goes by the name ´Öppen Verkstad´.
Approach and implementation
A challenge that was greater than expected was the distance between Västerås/Eskilstuna and Stockholm. This reduced the frequency of several of the members´ attendance at Samverket. The two professors who received membership frequently attended Samverket. The activities arranged by the social contract were very valuable and qualitative, however, more participants could have contributed to more insights and more knowledge. The collaboration showed the importance of a neutral place to meet. For example, the Social Contract gathered board of directors for a strategy day.
