Important results from the project

The project achieved its primary objectives by developing a digital twin platform for APS technology together with XR capabilities for visualization and demonstration. The platform enables simulation, validation, and interaction with APS technology in a virtual environment. The project strengthened collaboration between partners, created new opportunities for commercialization, and established a digital infrastructure supporting future development, demonstrations, and customer engagement.

Expected long term effects

The project accelerates the industrial adoption of APS technology by reducing development risks and improving simulation, validation, and remote support. Long-term, it strengthens Sweden’s competitiveness in semiconductor tech and promotes sustainability by lowering energy use, emissions, and resource consumption, while virtual tools reduce the need for travel and physical prototypes..

Approach and implementation

The project was a collaboration organized into six work packages covering requirements, simulation, digital twin development, XR integration, testing, and management. Following the planned timeline, the project delivered an operational platform combining digital twin and XR capabilities for APS technology. Effective partner collaboration was a key success factor.
