Important results from the project
The purpose of the study is to formulate, together with the owners of the needs (municipalities and regions), the challenges seen when introducing digital investments within municipalities and regions. The goal is that in step 2 the result of the project should result in a relevant decision support for the management team, project manager and steering group for prioritizing which digitization projects to invest in and what impact the implementation has on business performance and what business benefits may arise. As well as how the use of a structured introduction method can be used.
Expected long term effects
The preliminary study resulted in a document from the owner of the needs with these issues in focus: Resource requirements during implementation? Costs of implementation? Time it takes from idea to commissioning? What advantages do suppliers get from structured introduction. How do you calculate quantitative and qualitative effect recovery? How can we measure objective soft values? The preliminary study compiled several reports and investigations from Norway that looked at the results of using the Veikart method when introducing welfare technology.
Approach and implementation
Review of reports, research and documents from Norway made at Veikart, compilation of results and research methods. During the project, we had individual meetings and workshops with need owners, businesses and industry organizations where we analyzed existing implementation methods together. What conditions need to be in place for a successful widespread introduction and what advantages and disadvantages the different introduction methods have. Together we also had anchoring work and planning work before the application stage 2 implementation.
