Important results from the project
The purpose was to give exposure in a public forum to innovative SMEs and award two companies with funding to develop their ideas/products. The idea competition was held at Euromine Expo to attract large companies to attend in person. The top 8 applications were selected to pitch.
Expected long term effects
The two winners, Flasheye and RadChat were selected by the jury after the Euromine Expo pitch event. Each were awarded 600k SEK to continue to develop their ideas/products.
Approach and implementation
The Idea competition for SMEs was successfully held at Euromine Expo. The Jury consisted of individuals from industry, Vinnova and Swedish Mining Innovation. Follow-up meetings were held with those that did not win, to offer advice on dialogue on how their ideas could be supported through other instruments.
