Important results from the project
The goal was to further develop the service, attract new customers, expand abroad and contribute to more inclusive decision-making with reduced spread of infection and environmental impact. Thanks to the funding from Vinnova, we went from helping 19 organizations in 2020 to helping 182 organizations in 2021. We have been able to determine where the customer need is greatest, developed the platform in that direction and accelerated the sales and marketing work to reach the market with our offer.
Expected long term effects
** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** We successfully developed a solution for online meetings with live voting, in accordance with the project description. However, demand was lower than expected as most companies chose to continue with asynchronous advance voting. The focus was thus shifted to instead improving that solution with new innovative functions, which allowed us to grow the customer base and the company considerably. The work to develop a solution for live voting has by no means been wasted, as we are convinced that it is the future and that the demand will gradually increase.
Approach and implementation
With the support from Vinnova, we were able to replace our entire technical platform for advance voting with a more stable and user-friendly one. This made it possible to handle a larger number of customers without having to expand our own organization. A consulting firm was hired to build the solution for live voting and a working prototype was produced. A market survey of foreign conditions was carried out with the conclusion that the potential was not at all the same as in the home market and we decided to focus on Sweden, where demand was instead greater than expected.
