Purpose and goal
The purpose and goal of developing a scalable business model for clothing rental has been partially accomplished. Relationships with relevant partners have been developed and the basis for a scalable digital and logistical solution has been established. However, after launching the service, many things have not gone as expected, and further developments and adaptations are required especially in areas such as handling of garments and LCA.
Expected results and effects
We believe that we definitely have laid the groundwork for a scalable business model, but both time and resources are required to achieve scalability. It is about 4 months after the service was launched and at the moment, the outcome is continuously evaluated from the development made Vinnova´s funding.
Planned approach and implementation
We realised very quickly that it was necessary to launch the service as soon as possible on the market to get real feedback from active users. The preparation was well done in terms of time and conditions, but many new things arose. Despite this, we believe it was a good way of working.
